Roasted Broccoli with A Spicy Hummus Sauce

Spruce up your broccoli with this spicy hummus sauce.


 

Time: 30 min.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 heads broccoli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ cup Brami Calabrian Pepper Hummus
  • 1 tbsp Tamari
  • ½ tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
  • 1 clove Garlic, grated
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp Water

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut broccoli into 1-inch steaks, about 3 per head.
  3. Toss broccoli with olive oil and salt.
  4. Heat a sauté pan, sear broccoli on both sides to get color.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20 minutes or until golden-brown and tender.
  6. In a bowl combine grated ginger, garlic, and lemon zest.  
  7. Add Brami Calabrian Pepper Hummus, tamari, sesame oil, and water.
  8. Mix until well combined. You can add an extra tbsp. water to thin it out further if desired.
  9. Toss the roasted broccoli with the spicy hummus sauce until well coated.
